Say it – Slamming modern day imperialism and historical colonialism in Africa

So much cool stuff to share. I love how in slam poetry people just say it like it is and that is the point. Unlike other mediums where it’s frowned on to just scream out what isn’t f-ing okay.

At a time when the media is leaving big holes in its coverage of the coups and protests in Western Africa, particularly against the ongoing role of France there, lets honour the difficult resistance and people speaking out and not accepting rubbish versions of history and rubbish versions of modern day plundering.

This is just a small collection of African and African diaspora resistance slam poetry, but there is more out there…
